What you will do
Responsibility for end-to-end financial support within defined function (fixed cost area);
Perform complex accounting and business reporting tasks for named area;
Work closely with Accountants and Experts to ensure compliance;
Ensure outsourcing partner has needed on-time information, co-ordinate and monitor the tasks performed by outsourcing partner;
Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement of accounting and reporting services, processes and tools;
Participate in development projects;
Responsibility of reporting in own area and it’s short term development in co-operation with relevant stakeholders and teams;
Complex and proactive analytics within own area of responsibility;
Create and maintain user instructions and training materials as well organize trainings when needed;
Deliver timely, accurate and effective accounting services;
Ensure compliance with UPM internal controls, business rules, policies, guidelines and legal requirements;
Any other tasks assigned by Manager.
Who you are
You hold minimum a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or
business administration
You have a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in controlling, financial
planning, or management reporting, in a shared service or GBS environment
You have experience with internal controls, audit coordination, and compliance in
an international corporate setting
You have good knowledge of transfer pricing principles, intercompany
accounting, and cost allocation methodologies
You are good with ERP systems (SAP preferred), consolidation and reporting
tools (e.g., SAP Onestream), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), AI skills are a plus
You have continuous improvement mindset
You have experience working in cross-functional or multicultural teams with good
change management capabilities
You have analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable
business insights
You are fluent in English; knowledge of Polish or Finnish is an advantage
