Why this role is important to us:
SimCorp is maturing its process and risk governance set-up by forming a new Group Process Excellence Team within Group Risk Management. We will foster a culture of process excellence and accountability and develop and implement governance frameworks to enhance risk management and control processes.
As our Lead Process Consultant, you will collaborate with process owners and operators across all departments, including e.g., Sales, Product Design, IT, Finance, and HR. Your role is crucial in defining and implementing a robust process management framework, ensuring high quality and consistency across key processes. By establishing process excellence within the organization, you will lay the foundation to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
What you will be responsible for:
- Process Framework: Definition of a process management and governance framework for SimCorp
- including the preparation and alignment of supporting materials, guidelines etc.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Ensuring the quality and consistency of processes as well as adherence to required standards.
- Process Modelling and Development: Supporting in the design, development, and modelling of efficient and effective processes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Support in documenting processes, improvements, and changes.
- Project Management: Leading, managing and implementing projects related to process design, modelling, optimization, and improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Training and Mentoring: Providing training and consulting to business process owners & business process managers, as well as other relevant stakeholders, to enhance process modelling, development, and optimization across the group.
What we value:
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Good knowledge of relevant frameworks/regulations (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ITIL).
- Experience in an (internal) Consulting or Project/Change Management role.
- Knowledge of business process modeling methods and techniques (e.g., BPMN 2.0, Six Sigma)
- Process-oriented and analytical thinker with a proactive change mentality, and possesses high conceptual and critical thinking skills.
- Adopts a constructive, hands-on, and pragmatic work approach; open to new ways of working, thrives on progress and improvements, and is a flexible and versatile team player.
- Capable of interacting effectively with stakeholders at all levels, enjoys working in cross-functional teams and projects, and is keen to implement and steer governance processes.
- Excels at creating effective PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
- Possesses very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Amenable to work in EMEA hours
