Job Description :
This role will lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives across HedgeServ’s global environment, with a strong focus on infrastructure, platform modernization, and cloud/on-prem migration projects. The successful candidate will operate as a technical delivery owner, working closely with engineering teams to drive execution, manage dependencies, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Typical projects include infrastructure migrations, operating system and database upgrades, and platform modernization initiatives across on-premise and cloud environments.
Responsibilities :
Own and drive end-to-end delivery of technology projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder alignment
Lead delivery of infrastructure and platform initiatives, including migrations, system upgrades, and cloud/on-prem transitions
Collaborate with engineering teams to define project scope, technical approach, sequencing, and dependencies
Identify and actively manage technical risks, assumptions, and constraints across infrastructure and application layers
Coordinate environment readiness (dev, test, production), release schedules, and deployment/cutover activities
Develop and maintain key project artifacts including plans, status reports, and documentation
Track and report progress across distributed/global teams using tools such as JIRA
Engage stakeholders across technology and business teams to align priorities, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery
Advise management of delivery risks and issues, providing clear mitigation plans and regular updates
Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
2-4 years of experience in technical project management, with hands-on involvement in infrastructure or software delivery projects
B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of technical project management practices with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver across concurrent projects
Ability to engage with engineering teams, understand technical constraints, and drive discussions on delivery trade-offs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate insights and make data-driven decisions
Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); Understanding of infrastructure environments (VMs, networking, storage); Experience with Atlassian JIRA for tracking and managing project delivery.
Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
