1. Employee must have proficient use of and accurate data entry and ability to abstract data from Practice Fusion and acts as a resource for employees in the use of the Practice Fusion.
2. Reviews work for accuracy
3. Collaborates with other staff to assure medical record and scheduling is accurate
4. Collects and post payments accurately and balances at the end of the shift
5. Releases medical records and Protected Health Information per protocols and adheres to HIPAA
6. Communicates with patients and clinic staff to ensure proper paperwork is available for the office visit.
7. Monitors use of hospital resources. Assists with ensuring supplies are available.
8. Ensures excellence of service in all clinics where employee is assigned to work
9. Uses software programs needed to complete registration and process requests for medical records including Meditech, MARS, Laserfiche, and Email.
