Duties will include

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact 
  • Understand clients’ financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs 
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication and regular portfolio reviews 
  • Work in close collaboration with the Manager- Investment on initiatives
  • Provide tailored investment advice across multiple asset classes 
  • Design and recommend asset allocation strategies aligned with clients’ profiles and market conditions 
  • Manage a portfolio of clients’ portfolios in line with strategies developed and investment mandates.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and propose adjustments when required 
  • Stay informed on global financial markets, economic trends, and investment opportunities 
  • Prepare and present client reports, investment proposals, and performance updates 
  • Review the economic and business environment and assess their effect on investment portfolios.
  • Maintain an awareness of the latest financial/economic trends and keep up to date with market developments and new investment products.
  • Develop and execute tactical moves for portfolios in search of performance.
  • Any other cognate duties.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Have at least a degree in Finance / Economics / Investments from a recognized university. 
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ direct experience in asset management or financial advisory functions
  • Holder of a CFA designation, or another professional qualification in the field of Finance / Investments, will be a definite advantage. 
  • A solid understanding of investment and economics theory. 
  • Commercial mindset with demonstrated ability in client acquisition 
  • Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (KYC/AML) 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
