Compensation Range

Hourly: $22.60 - $30.30 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to support the Private Client Advisors who are accountable for the delivery of wealth management advisory services to high net worth clients of Commerce Trust

Essential Functions

  • Perform service and fulfillment activities to meet the needs and expectations of Commerce Trust clients

  • Act as an additional point of contact within the client relationship team for clients and act as the backup contact for clients in the PCAs absence

  • Assist with account administration, document review, fund transfers, discretionary actions and coordination for tax preparations with minimal supervision

  • Maintain a professional presence and approach with a strong desire to exceed client expectations

  • Identify opportunities for expansion of relationships with existing clients

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Basic knowledge of wealth management services and products

  • Demonstrated superior customer service skills and the ability to work independently

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associate degree in related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of office experience required

  • Financial institution experience preferred

  • Open to continuing education and development with desire to expand responsibilities

At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $22.60 to $30.30 per hour. Depending on the job level, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
