Job Description
As a Privacy & Cyber Law Specialist, you will help support and develop Rockwell Automation's global privacy and cybersecurity program. You will work with legal, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure compliance and improve how we manage data protection risks across the organization.
You will report to the Asst General Counsel, Cybersecurity, Chief Privacy Officer and work in a hybrid model based in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:- Partner with procurement and third-party risk teams to track and perform privacy and cybersecurity risk reviews across the supply chain
- Collaborate with system owners and product teams to conduct privacy reviews, DPIAs, data mapping activities, and maintain sub-processor documentation
- Support the design and development of privacy-enhancing technologies (e.g., OneTrust solutions)
- Coordinate and assess incoming requests from internal stakeholders and support project tracking and task management
- Help organize and maintain policies, guidance materials, reviews, documentation processes, and support data subject rights requests
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in law, IT, business, or a related field
- Experience supporting privacy, data protection, or cybersecurity topics in a legal, compliance, or corporate environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams
- Interest in privacy and cybersecurity topics, with willingness to grow your expertise
- Proficiency in English
- Experience supporting privacy or cybersecurity projects in a corporate or legal environment
- Familiarity with risk management, data mapping, or privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust)
- Exposure to policy writing, compliance documentation, or audit processes
- Background in information security, IT, or related technical domains
- IAPP certification (e.g., CIPP) or willingness to obtain it within 6 months
