We are inviting qualified candidates to join us as Print Production Manager, based onsite at our client's office in Banten, Indonesia.
Role Description
The Print Production Manager (PPM) is responsible for liaising with the clients and printers, providing internal instruction to modify artwork so that the final print will meet (as close as possible) the original design intent, across multiple packaging types and print processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Follow all Standard Working Practices (SWP)
- Assess new designs, liaising with the client, printer and tooling supplier to agree artwork changes/separation approach, based on the chosen print process
- Provide Artworkers with technical instructions on artwork separation
- Support and develop Artworkers to apply reprographics/colour separation with minimum PPM input
- Train and support new and junior members of the PPM team
- Specify tooling requirements (where required)
- Maintain client brand targets and colour standards
- Maintain printer specification records, and printer qualification
- Maintain PPM technical records
- Provide post-print analysis (both measured and visual)
- Work in conjunction with all other areas of the business to ensure that artwork is generated in the most effective and timely manner possible
Requirements
- Experience in print and packaging
- Printing Systems knowledge across a broad range of package types
- Understanding of colour management / proofing systems
- Possess excellent project management skills
- Due to geographical requirements, Bahasa Malay language capability is required in this role
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Hybrid work arrangement and work onsite at client's office in Jakarta
