Job Description:
We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer with a strong background in Model-Based Development (MBD) and MATLAB/Simulink. The successful candidate will join our digital power applications team for Digital Signal Controllers (dsPICs) as a senior member of the team. You will be working with a global team to help define, develop and test Model-Based solutions for various digital power applications such as PFC, DC-DC, and DC-AC.
Responsibilities:

Conduct system modelling, simulations, analysis and helps translate solution to hardware

Functional testing using hardware-in-the-loop, firmware-in-the-loop
-
Implements solution for automated code generation, unit testing, and verification
-
Develop/review/test peripheral models for specific microcontrollers
-
Enhances modelling capabilities, processes, and tools for expediting release of applications

Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate into system models
Requirements/Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Master’s degree with 6+ years.

Expert knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink, Coder, Simscape, etc.

Fundamental knowledge of power converter topologies and control theory
-
Understanding of Microcontroller Architecture, C/ASM Programming Experience.

Basic understanding of ASPICE, MISRA standards

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical materials effectively and produce good quality engineering documentation.
