We’re seeking an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to join our world-class team building Snowflake for Apps & Collaboration, enabling customers to build, share and connect applications, data products and AI models for their teams, their partners and their customers easily, all at enterprise-grade scale and governance. As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will:
  • Be responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business and technical impact. 

  • Provide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.

  • Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions. 

  • Be hands-on, working closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to design, build, and deliver the right products for the next generation of Snowflake services and apps.

  • Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM, Product and Engineering communities on program management best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole and increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements. (Snowflake happens to have a nice data platform to use…)

A Principal Technical Program Manager at Snowflake is expected to have:
  • 10+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to larger-scale complex projects at both enterprise and consumer companies. 

  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment and not be slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities. 

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and indeed all areas in Snowflake involved in the product life cycle 

  • Strong program management skills with both technical and business acumen, and strategic thinking

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups, bringing together strategy, product expertise, and presence. 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.

  • BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
