About the Position

The Principal Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for leading and executing highly specialized recruiting efforts across the organization, with a primary focus on senior-level, mission-critical, and hard-to-fill roles. This role serves as a trusted advisor providing strategic guidance on talent market dynamics, candidate assessment, and search strategy. The Principal Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering high‑impact critical talent searches, providing an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring leaders while strengthening Kenco’s leadership and critical talent pipelines.

Functions                                                                                               

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for senior leadership and other strategically critical roles, including intake, sourcing, assessment, selection, and offer negotiation.
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to senior leaders, providing consultative guidance on hiring strategy, talent availability, competitive market intelligence, and candidate positioning.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for senior leadership and niche talent, including direct sourcing, networking, and relationship-based recruiting.
  • Build and maintain long-term pipelines of senior leadership and high-impact talent aligned to current and future organizational needs.
  • Conduct rigorous candidate evaluations, including competency-based interviews, leadership assessments, and executive-level screening.
  • Collaborate across stakeholders to ensure alignment between hiring decisions and broader talent and succession strategies.
  • Deliver a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience reflective of executive-level expectations and Kenco’s employer brand.
  • Advise leaders on offer strategy, compensation considerations, and closing approaches for senior-level talent.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external search partners as needed, ensuring alignment to Kenco standards, expectations, and outcomes.
  • Utilize recruiting data and insights to inform search strategy, identify trends, and continuously improve recruiting effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruiting process.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition practices, tools, and world class recruiting methodologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational talent priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive recruiting experience, with demonstrated success recruiting executive, senior leadership, or highly specialized roles required.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and executives in a consultative, advisory capacity.
  • Strong expertise in executive sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, and market intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex searches with a high degree of discretion, professionalism, and judgment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred)
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics.
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple high-priority searches simultaneously.

Travel Requirements

  • This role is required to be within commuting distance of our Chattanooga, TN HQ.
  • This position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.
  • A passport is not required, but recommended.
