The Role

As a Principal Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor to clients, leading the design and delivery of SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay solutions while mentoring consultants and contributing to business growth.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure successful project outcomes from discovery through to post-go-live support.

This role can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay implementations.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage with senior business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
  • Design best-practice solutions aligned with client business objectives and SAP capabilities.
  • Provide functional leadership across project teams and mentor junior consultants.
  • Lead solution architecture discussions across the broader SuccessFactors suite.
  • Manage project deliverables, risks, timelines, and quality outcomes.
  • Support pre-sales activities, demonstrations, solution proposals, and scope definition.
  • Stay current with SAP SuccessFactors roadmap developments and industry best practices.
  • Build long-term trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Essential Experience
  • 6+ years of SAP HCM/SuccessFactors consulting experience.
  • Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end implementations of:
    • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
    • SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay
  • Strong configuration and solution design expertise across Compensation and Variable Pay.
  • Experience integrating Compensation and Variable Pay with other SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central and Performance & Goals.
  • Strong client-facing consulting and workshop facilitation experience.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring consultants.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • SAP SuccessFactors certification in Compensation and/or Variable Pay.
