The Opportunity
The Principal Streaming & Event Lead is the organization's senior individual contributor and authoritative technical voice for live event production, enterprise streaming, and venue production workflows across premier event spaces in New York and New Jersey, including 200 Park Avenue, Warren, and Whippany.
This role provides hands-on leadership through expertise, influence, and technical ownership rather than direct people management. The Principal Lead establishes production standards, guides complex event strategy, serves as the highest-level technical escalation point, and ensures that executive communications, enterprise broadcasts, hybrid events, and other high-visibility experiences are delivered with exceptional reliability and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to authority for live event production, streaming, broadcast operations, hybrid events, and venue technology across supported New York and New Jersey locations.
- Own the end-to-end technical strategy for the organization's most complex and high-profile events, including executive town halls, earnings calls, board meetings, leadership broadcasts, and enterprise-wide communications.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership during planning, rehearsals, live execution, and post-event review, including rapid troubleshooting and decisive escalation management when production risks arise.
- Define and govern production standards, operating procedures, technical runbooks, signal-flow requirements, streaming profiles, redundancy models, quality controls, and event readiness criteria.
- Act as the principal design authority for streaming and production workflows, advising on platform selection, system architecture, integrations, capacity, resiliency, security, and lifecycle planning.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise live events, broadcasts, hybrid meetings, and streaming productions in high-visibility, business-critical environments.
- Deepexpertisein production system design and operation, including video switching, digital audio, broadcast routing, signal transport, encoding, streaming, recording, playback, graphics, remote contribution, monitoring, and redundancy.
- Demonstrated success serving as a senior technical lead or principal subject-matter expert, with the ability to set standards, influence decisions, and lead throughexpertiserather than organizational authority.
- Proven ability to lead complex productions under pressure, diagnose issues quickly, make sound risk-based decisions, and communicate clearly with executives and technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise collaboration and event platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Teams Town Hall, Webex, Zoom, vMix , or comparable production and streaming environments.
- Ability to develop clear technical documentation, production plans, runbooks, architecture diagrams, operating standards, incident analyses, and executive-level recommendations.
- Strong cross-functional partnership, stakeholder management, vendor leadership, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to support multiple sites and work outside standard business hours whenrequiredfor critical events, rehearsals, maintenance, or incident response.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate live events, broadcast production, enterprise streaming, venue technology, multimedia engineering, or related fields.
- Experience as the technical owner for C-suite events, board meetings, quarterly earnings calls, global leadership broadcasts, or similarly high-impact communications.
- Advanced familiarity with AV-over-IP and IP-based media workflows, including NDI, Dante, enterprise networking dependencies, and production traffic segmentation.
- Experience with vMix , production switchers, digital audio consoles, encoders, video codecs, broadcast routing, intercom, monitoring, streaming platforms, and cloud-based contribution workflows.
- Experience defining standards and technology roadmaps across multiple corporate facilities, campuses, or flagship event venues.
- CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, Dante, Microsoft, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent relevant industry certification.
- Experience working in a regulated enterprise environment with formal change management, cybersecurity, resiliency, and operational governance requirements.
The expected salary range for this position is $142,100 - $189,400 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
