Department Summary
Our Wireless Technology organization is transforming the future of connectivity. We're doing it by building the country's first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating in standard and/or industry group meetings including 3GPP SA1/SA2, GSMA, ETIS, and ATIS but not limited to worldwide
- Reporting industry-standard progress and supporting internal system engineers on standards issues
- Write standards contributions to justify company interests
- Coordinate internal alignment for 3GPP, other Standards Bodies (SDO) specification
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of telecommunication standardization and/or systems engineering experience
- Experience with 3GPP NTN architecture, mobility, and TN/NTN convergence
- Experience with GSMA, ATIS, ETSI Working Groups (WG) and Standards, virtualized RAN, virtualized packet core
Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge in 3GPP 4/5 Core Architecture, Reference Points/Interfaces, All OAM aspects, Cloud Architecture, Automation
- Good knowledge of CBRS and associated standards
- Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge
- Self-motivation and handling standard/system engineering projects on your own.
- Coordinate internal alignment for 3GPP and other standards bodies and SDOs
- Experience with vendor management in standards alignment
- Familiar with Standards Organization (SDO) processes and procedures
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
