Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

  • Participating in standard and/or industry group meetings including 3GPP SA1/SA2, GSMA, ETIS, and ATIS but not limited to worldwide
  • Reporting industry-standard progress and supporting internal system engineers on standards issues
  • Write standards contributions to justify company interests
  • Coordinate internal alignment for 3GPP, other Standards Bodies (SDO) specification


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of telecommunication standardization and/or systems engineering experience
  • Experience with 3GPP NTN architecture, mobility, and TN/NTN convergence
  • Experience with GSMA, ATIS, ETSI Working Groups (WG) and Standards, virtualized RAN, virtualized packet core


Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge in 3GPP 4/5 Core Architecture, Reference Points/Interfaces, All OAM aspects, Cloud Architecture, Automation
  • Good knowledge of CBRS and associated standards
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge
  • Self-motivation and handling standard/system engineering projects on your own.
  • Coordinate internal alignment for 3GPP and other standards bodies and SDOs
  • Experience with vendor management in standards alignment
  • Familiar with Standards Organization (SDO) processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
