SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Principal Solutions Engineer to join us and spread the power of Wiz. As a Principal Solutions Engineer you will be acting as the technical authority for the Wiz platform, specializing deeply in Wiz Outpost. Working across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and customer success, you will drive business and technical value for prospects and customers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as the go to technical resource for sales and solutions engineering on Wiz Platform architecture questions, messaging, and presentations.
- Own Outpost investigations end to end, diving into IAM misconfigurations, networking failures, provisioning breakdowns, and scan degradation across customer environments.
- Root cause and triage issues across multiple cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and Alibaba.
- Partner with engineering to collaborate on escalations and reproduce issues.
- Clearly distinguish between Wiz bugs, customer misconfigurations, and cloud-provider behavior, and translate these technical gaps for both customers and engineering.
- Provide technical and business-relevant feedback into Product Management based on field engagements to continuously improve Wiz’s position and value messaging.
- Enable the broader support and field teams by building and maintaining investigation runbooks, internal knowledge base content, and onboarding materials. Lead regular thought leadership sessions to share insights derived from customer engagements.
- Collaborate with Wiz sales teams on strategic opportunities to demonstrate the platform's technical and business value. Assist SEs and prospects during the POV process with advanced use cases, installation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Wiz’s CTO, Field CTO, Customer Success, Product Management, and R&D organizations to maintain alignment and ensure coordinated efforts across the sales process.
- Willingness to undergo security clearance.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Minimum of 6 years of experience designing and implementing public cloud architectures, with deep expertise across major cloud providers.
- Experience working within the Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) space.
- Extensive knowledge of networking fundamentals, cloud networking concepts, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) models.
- Experience architecting, deploying, and troubleshooting complex Kubernetes and container environments across multiple distributions, including managed Kubernetes services, node groups, autoscaling, operators, pod scheduling, and cluster lifecycle management.
- Experience with developer workflows and tools, including Git, CI/CD, Helm (for Outpost Lite), CloudFormation, and Terraform.
- Solid knowledge of Attack Surface Management (ASM) methodologies, network reconnaissance, cloud security, and vulnerability assessments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business, and executive audiences, translating complex infrastructure issues into actionable customer guidance.
- Full professional fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Hebrew.
BONUS SKILLS
- Background in security products or cloud security posture, specifically with experience in workload scanning or disk snapshot pipelines.
- Experience supporting ISV or SaaS products deployed directly within customer cloud accounts.

What We Do
Every day there’s another cyber-attack on the news. Hackers stole twenty million credit card numbers from a retailer, or they shut down an oil pipeline, or crippled a hospital. These attacks are more than just disruptive; they’re big business for organized crime and rogue states. Wiz is here to prevent them from happening where companies and governments build applications today -- in the cloud. From Barclays to Home Depot, Wiz helps the biggest organizations in the world protect their Amazon, Microsoft, and Google cloud environments. We have only been selling the product for six months, and so far, 10% of the Fortune 500 already use Wiz. But this is just the beginning. Come join the fastest growing enterprise software company in history in one of the fastest growing industries -- the cloud -- and help us make cloud a safe place where creativity and innovative ideas can flourish.
