We are seeking an Principal Solution Architect to lead the evolution of Autodesk Consulting’s Intellectual Property platform as an enterprise-ready SaaS product powered by knowledge architecture, AI-enabled capabilities, and future agentic applications.
Working across product, engineering, architecture, and consulting teams, you will design the knowledge architecture that connects workflows, data, decisions, and insights across the AEC, MFG, and M&E domains. You will establish the semantic models, knowledge graph capabilities, and platform architecture required to support organizational change management, workflow automation, intelligent decision support, and future agentic applications.
This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Sr. Manager, Architecture.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve the architectural vision for Workflow Advisory and related knowledge-driven platform capabilities
Design semantic architectures, knowledge models, and knowledge graph capabilities that connect workflows, data, decisions, and insights
Define architecture patterns that enable workflow automation, intelligent decision support, and future agentic applications
Establish standards for knowledge representation, lifecycle management, governance, and reuse across platforms
Translate business workflows into reusable domain models, services, and architectural patterns
Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures that support enterprise and customer-facing solutions
Ensure platform services, APIs, and knowledge assets are discoverable, composable, and consumable by AI-enabled applications
Apply AI and LLM technologies to improve knowledge discovery, workflow execution, and advisory experiences
Collaborate with architects and engineering responsible for ensuring architecture meets enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and SOC2 requirements
Collaborate with product, engineering, and consulting teams to align architecture investments with business outcomes and technology strategy
Drive adoption of architectural standards and reusable platform capabilities across teams
Mentor engineers and architects while communicating architectural direction to senior leadership and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of experience designing and delivering complex software platforms
Experience as a Software Architect, Product Architect, Principal Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role
Experience designing AI-enabled, knowledge-driven, or workflow-centric software systems
Experience with knowledge graphs, semantic architectures, ontologies, taxonomies, graph databases, or retrieval systems
Experience evaluating and implementing AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, intelligent assistants, or autonomous agent patterns
Experience leading technical spikes, rapid prototyping efforts, or proof-of-concept development
Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices
Experience designing secure, privacy-conscious, and trustworthy software platforms that operate within enterprise governance requirements
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 15% of the time is required

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Poland based roles, we expect a starting base salary between 238,000 PLN and 348,700 PLN. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Sales Careers
