Position Description:
Assists business initiatives in centralizing and streamlining business operations. Architects and builds applications on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform using Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software capabilities. Develops SOAP/RESTful API and Java based applications with Salesforce Application Programming Interface (API) integration. Designs software using Salesforce design principles, technically scalable data modeling, Governor limits, and Force.com development standard methodologies. Generates business solutions by developing complex software solutions. Integrates with systems utilizing Informatica, Snaplogic and Salesforce.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops original and creative technical solutions for development efforts.
- Designs applications or subsystems on major projects for multiple platforms.
- Develops applications for multiple groups supporting several divisional initiatives.
- Involve in all phases of projects such as design, implementation, testing, releasing, and maintenance.
- Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
- Establishes project plans for projects requiring complex scope and execution.
- Performs independent and complex technical & functional analysis for initiatives.
- Works as Scrum Master for our team and making sure that our team utilizes Agile principles in our day-to-day operations.
- Gathers requirements from business groups and functioned as SME for our applications.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and implementing Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and implementing Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
- Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) gathering, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, implementing programmatic customizations, and developing CRM capabilities on Salesforce platforms, using Apex, Java, SQL, Snaplogic, and Informatica; building etc. Built Lightning Pages extensively for all business groups.
- DE administering Salesforce instances by implementing Force.com configuration and Sales/Service Cloud products by creating or modifying Salesforce.com configurations (profiles, permission sets, roles, users, page layouts, lightning pages, custom objects, workflows, flows, and process builders); developing solutions with Force.com configuration and code; and inserting, updating, deleting, or exporting Salesforce records using Apex Data Loader, Workbench.
- DE developing integrations using Salesforce Web Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); consuming vendor APIs using REST and SOAP protocols; developing RESTful Web services using out-of-box REST configurations, scripted rest messages, and integration hub; and performing authentication using SSO and OAUTH2.
- DE performing in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of Salesforce.com solutions within an Agile environment; providing estimates and dependencies to product owners; assisting in planning Salesforce enhancements; and designing Salesforce.com solutions as per business requirements.
