Description
Architect, research, develop, debug, and test a series of high-performance(high throughput, computationally demanding, and resource limited)medical software products using C/C++, C#, and Python and software engineering best practices such as continuous integration/continuous deployment, Scrum software development methodologies, etc.; Lead the continuous improvement and requirements definition of the software development foundation for new software-enabled products leveraging state-of-the-art tools and practices for deployment, testing, deployment, and maintenance of such systems (DevOps) leveraging expertise with version control and technical leadership; Create proof of concept code using C/C++, C#, and Python to evaluate ideas, explore new technologies, and reduce risk for key project areas, and manage and maintain such documentation related to software design control process so design and architecture patterns are captured. Serve as subject matter expert for software expertise and direction for outcome focused objectives in an FDA regulated environment with recognized medical standards (IEC 62304, IEC62366, etc.) Provide technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration(within R&D, sales, clinical, and marketing) to team in the research and development of advanced medical software that meets regulatory standards
Educ./experience: Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field and 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience within the software engineering field. Experience must include Ultrasound Imaging platform, Signal processing, Image Analysis and processing with OpenCV, C++, Python, Java, Microservices using gRPC and Protobuff, WPF, WCF, DICOM, and IEC62304 standards for medical software development.
