Our dream is to become the fastest growing, most loved, window covering company in the world. What’s yours?

One of the pillars of our North American division is spread across four different sites in Mexico where a blend of manufacturing and fabrication occurs. At each location we pride ourselves on exemplary safety and employee-first standards, as we pioneer production processes to be best in class. It is our focus on quality and growth that makes us an employer of choice and helps us maintain our culture of excellence

Position Overview

Across the business, teams are creating software faster than ever: automations, workflow tools, dashboards, scripts, low-code apps, AI-assisted applications, and lightweight digital products. Some are prototypes. Some already run important processes. Some need to be hardened. Some need to be rebuilt. Some should be retired. At the same time, our professional software estate needs cleaner architecture, better integration, stronger engineering hygiene, clearer ownership, and faster delivery. This role sits at the center of both needs: enabling business-led innovation while ensuring that the software we depend on is reliable, secure, maintainable, and fit for purpose.

What you'll do

1. Shape Application Architecture and Modernization Direction

  • Shape Application Architecture and Modernization Direction
  • Define pragmatic architecture patterns for internal applications, customer-facing tools, workflow systems, integrations, and AI-enabled applications. Assess existing applications and business-built tools to determine what should be hardened, rebuilt, integrated, automated, supported, retired, or left alone.
  • Guide build-vs-buy-vs-extend decisions, balancing speed, cost, reliability, security, maintainability, and business value.
  • Translate business goals into practical technical roadmaps with clear tradeoffs, sequencing, ownership, and success measures.
  • Professionalize and Modernize the Application Estate

2. Professionalize and Modernize the Application Estate

  • Improve the reliability, scalability, maintainability, security, and user experience of legacy, vendor, professional, and business-built applications.
  • Help teams move from prototypes, scripts, spreadsheets, low-code tools, and AI-generated applications to secure, supportable software where the business case justifies it.
  • Drive refactoring, API enablement, integration cleanup, cloud modernization, data model improvements, and simplification where they create meaningful value.
  • Reduce technical debt with judgment, avoiding both unnecessary rewrites and fragile short-term fixes.
  • Build, Review, and Ship Hands-On

3. Build, Review, and Ship Hands-On

  • Rapidly design and build prototypes, reference implementations, APIs, workflow applications, and critical application components.
  • Contribute code when needed to unblock delivery, prove an approach, or establish a high-quality pattern.
  • Review technical designs and code from engineers, vendors, consultants, analysts, and business technologists.
  • Help teams move from “working demo” to production-grade software with appropriate testing, deployment, observability, and support.

4. Multiply Software Delivery Capability

  • Coach engineers, analysts, data/AI practitioners, business technologists, and delivery teams on practical software architecture and engineering practices.
  • Create reusable templates, starter kits, design patterns, and lightweight standards that help teams build better software faster.
  • Partner with leaders across sales, operations, pricing, customer experience, manufacturing, service, IT, data, analytics, and AI to anchor architecture decisions in measurable business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in data, analytics, technology, consulting, or digital transformation roles

Who you are

  • 10+ years of software engineering, application architecture, platform engineering, or senior technical leadership experience.
  • A track record of designing, building, modernizing, and operating applications used by real users in real business environments.
  • Strong hands-on engineering capability in modern application stacks.
  • Experience improving complex application environments with a mix of legacy systems, vendor platforms, custom software, prototypes, and business-built tools.
  • Strong judgment on when to refactor, rewrite, wrap, buy, retire, automate, or leave something alone.
  • Comfort influencing without formal authority across engineers, vendors, consultants, analysts, business technologists, and senior leaders.
  • Clear executive communication and strong technical credibility with engineering teams.
  • A multiplier mindset: you improve not only the application in front of you, but also the organization’s ability to build better software repeatedly.

What's in it for you

  • Salary: BRL 501,000.00 - BRL 620,000.00
  • Bonus: 40%-55%
  • Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability
  • A company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth
  • Time off with pay
  • Paid parental leave
  • Wellness programs and product discounts
