Role Summary
The Asia Sales Business Operations Principal partners with Asia Sales Leadership to drive revenue governance, forecasting rigor, and operational excellence across the region. This role serves as the analytical and operational backbone of the Asia Sales organization-enabling data-driven decision-making, scalable operating models, and predictable revenue growth.
The role requires strong financial acumen, advanced CRM and analytics expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional execution across Sales, Business Units, Finance, GCM, and Operations. The Principal is accountable for transforming insights into action and ensuring disciplined execution at scale across Asia.
Key Accountabilities
1. Revenue Governance & Forecast Management
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue governance processes for Asia, including achievement tracking and Risk & Opportunity (R&O) management
  • Own pipeline hygiene standards, deal review cadence, forecast accuracy metrics, and data integrity
  • Deliver executive-level analytics and insights, including but not limited to:
    • TAM / SAM / SOM modeling
    • Long-Term Agreement (LTA) tracking and governance
    • Customer pricing negotiation status and trends
    • Competitive and market landscape analysis

2. Business Analysis & Executive Insights
  • Provide executive-ready insights and narrative reporting for regional and corporate leadership
  • Conduct ad-hoc and scenario-based analysis (e.g., pricing impact, margin sensitivity, demand shifts) to support strategic decisions
  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations and actions for Sales Leadership

3. Process Optimization & Sales Operations Governance
  • Standardize end-to-end sales operating processes across Asia and own the Asia Sales Business Operations Calendar
  • Own CRM governance, data quality, and user adoption, including AI-enabled tools (e.g., Salesforce hygiene, AI usage metrics, reporting logic)
  • Drive automation and simplification by reducing manual workflows through dashboards, AI tools, and system enhancements
  • Design and implement business review frameworks to track LTA performance, pricing trends, payment terms, and deal health
  • Provide mentorship and enablement to Field Sales teams, particularly during new tool, process, or program rollouts

4. Cross-Functional & Executive Alignment
  • Act as a regional liaison between Sales, Business Units, Finance, GCM, and Operations to ensure alignment on priorities and execution
  • Support Asia Sales Leadership with board-level and executive reporting materials
  • Lead coordination for major regional and global events, including CES, MWC, GTC, Computex, executive visits, and strategic customer meetings

5. Strategic Initiatives & Transformation
  • Lead high-impact, cross-regional initiatives in partnership with Asia Sales Leadership, including:
    • Account prioritization and segmentation frameworks
    • Segment and go-to-market strategy execution
    • Account review cadence, strategic planning, and performance governance
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales productivity, operating rigor, and regional execution consistency
