Job Title
Your main responsibilities:
Strategic Oversight & Review:
Review and approve test strategies for all new features and product updates.
Conduct deep-dive audits of existing test suites to identify gaps in functional, regression, and edge-case coverage.
Prioritize test coverage for critical customer workflows to guarantee a seamless and reliable end-user experience.
Release Management & Gatekeeping:
Act as the final "Quality Gatekeeper" for production releases, ensuring no critical defects bypass the deployment pipeline.
Monitor bug life cycles closely, ensuring all essential patches are validated and merged before the release cutoff.
Establishing strict "Go/No-Go" criteria for feature activation.
Working closely with Product Managers, Release Management and Operations to coordinate release schedules and manage deployment risks.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
Collaborate with geographically diverse, cross functional teams to define and implement the overall product testing strategy and processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to coach feature teams on advanced testing methodologies.
Advocate for and rigorously incorporate quality best practices.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement:
Defining metrics for success.
Propose and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve testing efficiency.
About the ideal candidate:
Minimum of 12+ years of experience.
Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and modern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium etc..).
Deep understanding of testing framework architecture.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Experience with fast-paced development cycles involving multiple releases per month.
Ability to derive actionable insights from complex quality data and KPIs.
Exceptional ability to influence feature teams and stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
Strong business acumen and understanding of how quality impacts customer success and business outcomes.
