At Sabre Corporation, we are driving innovation and transforming business landscapes through intelligent, next-generation technology solutions. We are looking for a Principal Product Owner to take full accountability for the end-to-end (E2E) strategy, investment, and lifecycle of our core, highly complex product lines within Sabre Mosaic NDC IT.
In this role, you will serve as the strategic bridge connecting design, engineering, process, quality, and marketing as our products move from initial definition through production, deployment, and eventual distribution. You will manage diverse stakeholders and lead cooperative efforts across multidisciplinary teams to ensure customer and business needs are clearly understood, prioritized, and delivered at an enterprise scale.
The ideal candidate combines expert travel industry acumen, seasoned analytical skills, and a strong background in scalable product delivery. This role requires an individual who can operate effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, making high-level strategic judgments while maintaining functional governance over execution.
Role And Responsibilities
- E2E Strategy & Vision: Responsible for the end-to-end product strategy, investment planning, and roadmap for complex, enterprise-scale platform products within Sabre Mosaic NDC IT. Focus on increasing the profitability of existing products, developing new solutions, and meeting revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
- Dual-Domain Authority: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sabre Mosaic NDC IT, bridging the gap between Airline Solutions (how airlines create and price offers) and Travel Network/Agencies/TMCs (how offers are distributed and consumed).
- Decision Authority: Act as a product leader, balancing customer requirements, technical constraints, regulatory rules, and commercial priorities.
- Architecture & Engineering Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering leadership, architects, and platform teams to define scalable, API-driven, and integration-ready solutions.
- Strategic Prioritization: Drive prioritization across multiple enterprise initiatives, including new capabilities, technical modernization, platform evolution, and operational improvements.
- Customer & Pre-Sales Interface: Serve as the primary product interface for key strategic customers and partners. Lead discovery workshops, solution alignment, and high-level roadmap discussions in collaboration with Sales, Account Management, and Delivery teams.
- Lifecycle Governance: Oversee product lifecycle decisions, including feature introduction, migration, and the sunset/deprecation of legacy solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support senior and mid-level Product Managers/Owners, setting product management standards and best practices across the organization.
Agile Framework & Requirements Governance
- Advanced Requirements Architecture: Proven experience in translating complex, high-level business problems into strategic epics and feature definitions, ensuring structural alignment across distributed delivery teams.
- Backlog Governance: Provide high-level oversight and prioritize the product backlog for assigned areas, ensuring clarity of scope, business value, and definition of done.
- Agile Mentorship: Guide internal Product Owners and Scrum teams on how to effectively structure user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements based on your industry expertise.
- Release Planning: Champion release planning and ensure cross-functional alignment across commercial, support, data, billing, security, and compliance teams for E2E product readiness.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of related experience in Product Management or Product Ownership working with complex enterprise platforms or related technical systems
- Agile Expertise: Solid, proven track record of operating within an Agile/Scrum framework at scale. Prior hands-on experience as a Product Owner (writing user stories, managing backlogs, and participating in scrum ceremonies) is required to effectively guide delivery teams.
- Customer-Facing Proven Track Record: Strong experience in customer-facing roles, including leading workshops, handling complex customer requests (CRs), and steering solution discussions with executive stakeholders.
- Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead cooperative efforts among diverse, geographically distributed project teams without direct hierarchical authority.
- Education: 4-year degree (or post-4-year degree) in a relevant technical or business field; or an advanced degree with equivalent work experience.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; highly comfortable presenting complex roadmaps and functional deep dives to executive stakeholders and external partners.
The AI-First Mandate
This role requires an AI-first approach to product management. The successful candidate is expected to use AI tools extensively across market analysis, requirements definition, documentation, and communication to accelerate delivery and improve quality, while operating within Sabre’s AI governance and security standards.

- Formal Agile/Product certifications (e.g., POPM, CSPO, CPM).
