We are looking for a Principal Product Manager with deep expertise in managing marketing technology solutions and ecosystems supporting F5’s Marketing organization. In this critical role within F5's Digital Organization you will enable our mission to create a data-driven, agile, and scalable marketing technology ecosystem that drives demand generation, operational efficiency, and deliver impactful digital experiences. 

 

As a Principal Product Manager, you will define and lead the vision, strategy, and execution for marketing platforms and tools—including Sanity.io, Marketo, and campaign enablement solutions. This role will support core marketing functions such as demand generation, campaign management, segmentation, event marketing, and lead lifecycle. You'll partner with stakeholders across web strategy, integrated marketing, product marketing, brand, engineering teams and x-digital teams like enterprise architecture, data and AI to deliver seamless, scalable, and user-centric marketing technology solutions. 

This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role requiring deep marketing tech expertise, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder alignment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Product Management Strategy and Execution:  

  • Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap for digital technology supporting Marketing leading the Digital team’s transformation to a product-led delivery model. Act as the owner of the primary digital tools and platforms used by Marketing and their connected ecosystems, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics, and partner solutions. 

  • Prioritize initiatives and lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for these platforms, from ideation and development to launch and optimization, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and experience driven. Embed product-thinking across teams and refine processes to deliver value iteratively and rapidly 

  • Champion a customer-first approach in strategic planning and execution ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. Institutionalize agile, iterative product management methodologies to prioritize delivering value incrementally while staying aligned with long-term goals. 

 

Transforming Customer and User Experiences: 

  • Build seamless, intuitive external and internal experiences within digital platforms that meet the needs of both customers and internal stakeholders. 

  • Focus on end-user adoption, leveraging data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve usability and satisfaction. 

  • Develop scalable frameworks that support consistent and reliable customer experiences, regardless of channel or touchpoint. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and product teams, ensuring everyone stays aligned and focused on outcomes. 

  • Drive cross-functional alignment, ensuring consistent execution of a product-led delivery approach while delivering measurable results. 

Thought Leadership: 

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and product-led methodologies to continually improve F5’s delivery of digital services. 

  • Foster a culture of innovation and a continual learning mindset across teams. 

  • Advocate for a data-driven approach to decision-making and the measurement of impacts, championing KPIs and business outcomes as the measure of success 

 

Qualifications & Skills: 

Required: 

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management with a strong focus on digital technology platforms, marketing technology, and cross-functional ecosystems. 

  • Proven expertise in leading product-led transformations, including implementing agile methodologies and iterative delivery of value. 

  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing agile, scalable and reliable digital solutions  

  • Exceptional ability to balance strategic vision with day-to-day operational execution. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Hands-on experience working with Sanity.io, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Vercel 

  • Experience driving organizational change initiatives to adopt product-led or agile delivery processes. 

  • A deep understanding of customer-centered design and UX principles as they relate to digital systems. 

  • Expertise in data analytics and leveraging insights to inform product strategy 

Soft Skills: 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 

  • Highly collaborative, fostering trust across business and technical teams alike. 

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead teams through change with confidence and clarity. 

  • A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering measurable, high-impact results. 

  • Provides subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to senior leadership to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

The annual base pay for this position is: $161,600.00 - $242,400.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
