The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for assessing, prioritizing and executing product portfolio initiatives that are aimed at growing revenue and increasing distribution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in product lifecycle management and go to market best practices. This individual will need to harness the resources of the organization and will be strategic as well as tactical. This individual will be accountable for the financial success of the enterprise-facing product portfolio from a top-line revenue growth perspective.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus) with proven market success in launching products from inception to scale
  • 10+ years of product management or related experience in the telecom and cloud ecosystems. Background in voice/messaging APIs, network fraud prevention technologies is desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of competitive landscape for Caller Identification, Call Authentication (STIR/SHAKEN) and Enhanced Calling capabilities and their intersection with Brand trust and security
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize workload, handle multiple priorities simultaneously and possess exceptional follow-up and problem resolutions skills
  • Should be proactive and demonstrate ability to work independently and produce results across multiple functional organizations, both internal and external
  • Seeking a thought leader and team player with strong interpersonal communication, writing and presentation skills
  • This position requires travel (20%+/-)    

    Impact You'll Make:

    • Lead collaboration with sales, marketing, channels and customers to understand the commercial drivers for specific product features
    • Balance product requirements and market impact against time to market and project risks
    • Work closely with customers and TransUnion subject matter experts to develop clear and concise product requirements to help drive the strategic roadmap and product/feature development
    • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical contact for vendor/partner relationships (product portfolio, interoperability, roadmap alignment, etc.) that are part of the Trusted Call Solutions program
    • Represent TransUnion at related industry standards bodies and events to drive standards to TransUnion’s benefit and inform product roadmaps accordingly.  
    • Work with peer teams to prepare and maintain Sales, Marketing, Proposal and Contract collateral for customer opportunities
    • Provide product management mentorship to junior and developing product managers
    • Have the desire to travel to meet clients and internal stakeholders while planning and delivering solutions

    This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

    Pay Scale Information :

    The U.S. base salary range for this position is $150,100.00 - $225,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

    Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
