Powering the agentic revolution in travel. Sabre is an AI-native technology leader, backed by one of the world’s largest travel data clouds. Built on an open, modular, cloud-native architecture, Sabre serves as the backbone for both established leaders and bold, new disruptors, guiding them to the next age of travel retailing through intelligent, connected, and personalized experiences. With AI at its core and operating at unparalleled scale, Sabre transforms insights into innovation, empowering airlines, hoteliers, agencies and other partners to retail, distribute and fulfill travel worldwide.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our global Sabre Payments team, where innovation knows no borders. The Sabre Payments Product team is dedicated to modernizing how the global travel ecosystem buys, sells and settles transactions by building enterprise-grade, high-availability payment orchestration platforms. As Principal Product Manager, you will lead the strategic vision, architecture and execution of Sabre’s next-generation Travel Payout Platform, enabling airlines, agencies, hotels and travel operators to disburse funds globally.
This role directly aligns with Sabre’s core business strategy to expand beyond distribution and retail into high-margin fintech infrastructure and automated B2B financial workflows. By bridging legacy travel bookings with modern multi-rail payment networks, you will drive new revenue streams and establish Sabre as the definitive B2B payout hub for the travel industry. With an inclusive culture and flexible work environment, we work together with boldness, curiosity and commitment so we can all win together.
As Principal Product Manager, you will lead platform execution and establish high-throughput financial infrastructure across global markets. You will bridge complex technical architecture with high-stakes commercial strategy, collaborating with engineering, external financial partners and enterprise clients. This role requires deep domain mastery in fintech and B2B payout orchestration, clear commercial acumen and the confidence to challenge legacy settlement processes.
What you'll do
- Establish the multi-year product vision, strategic positioning and financial business cases for the platform, taking end-to-end accountability for gross disbursement volume (GDV), platform take rates and product ROI.
- Lead high-stakes product and technical evaluations with external payment partners, including virtual card issuing platforms, premium regional issuers and cross-border bank networks, to structure optimal rebate-sharing models, SLA guarantees and integration frameworks.
- Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle from initial MVP scoping through enterprise rollout, defining high-value feature prioritization, RESTful API specifications and architectural requirements alongside engineering leadership.
- Serve as the authoritative product voice across sales leadership, legal, risk and compliance teams to ensure alignment on regulatory standards (KYB/AML, PCI-DSS), commercial strategy and enterprise customer readiness.
- Define North Star product performance indicators, build telemetry frameworks for transaction routing and reconciliation, and establish operating models with dedicated customer support and exception-handling teams.
- Use generative artificial intelligence, automation and agentic flows to optimize platform routing intelligence, automate product planning and accelerate feature delivery.
