The Role
SoFi is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our home loans sales enablement team. This role is pivotal in transforming how our sales professionals, including Loan Officers, connect with SoFi members and manage relationships.
Join us on the front lines of the Home Lending Product & Platform transformation, where you will prioritize innovation, collaboration, and member-centricity to evolve our product delivery. You will be responsible for our CRM, dialer and routing platforms, focusing on solutions that optimize sales processes, improve client interactions, and drive efficiency in lead management, opportunity tracking, and loan origination.
This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, design, data science, user research, marketing, operations, finance, risk, legal, compliance and executive teams to set a product strategy, define, and prioritize features. You’ll play the critical role of bridging the technical and business worlds to deliver product enhancements that delight our members and drive our business forward. You will be expected to set ambitious goals, sweat the details and deliver with urgency.
What you’ll do
- Define and execute a groundbreaking product vision for truly disruptive innovation that sets the industry standard, utilizing our Sales Engagement ecosystem.
- Lead the evaluation, testing, and rapid rollout of cutting-edge technologies, including AI and intelligent automation, to dramatically boost sales team capabilities, maximize throughput, and unlock sales capacity.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness for our sales organization by architecting scalable, auditable, and hyper-reliable solutions that eliminate friction and simplify complex, high-stakes workflows.
- Own, define and prioritize the product backlog for your engineering squad, writing detailed requirements and partnering closely with developers.
- Deeply immerse yourself in the day-to-day realities of our Business and Sales teams to master their processes, translating complex operational needs into intuitive, high-performance tooling
- Engineer sales and relationship management processes to be fully automated, transparent, and resilient enough to scale exponentially alongside SoFi’s growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on requirements and timelines.
- Thrive in a high-velocity agile environment, making decisive trade-offs and delivering iteratively while maintaining laser focus on game-changing, long-term strategic objectives.
- Be a champion of SoFi’s values
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a technical, finance, or quantitative field.
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex sales workflows into simple, usable tools.
- Passion for delivering solutions that empower the sales force and enhance client relationships.
- Strong understanding of mortgage processes and CRM technology to create a seamless pre-purchase and purchase experience.
- Familiarity with mortgage and HELOC regulatory frameworks and comfort partnering closely with Legal and Compliance
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; able to dive into financial and operational metrics.
- Experience owning end-to-end product delivery, from discovery through launch and iteration.
- High bias for action and ownership—comfortable operating in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
Nice to have
- Direct experience at a mortgage or HELOC broker, correspondent lender, or fintech home lending platform
- Experience working closely with licensed sales or operations teams
- Experience working with sales and operations leaders, compliance teams, and executive stakeholders.

What We Do
SoFi wasn’t built to be a bank. Or a technology company. We were built for one mission: help people achieve financial independence so they can realize their ambitions. Redefining an entire industry isn’t easy work—and it’s not for the faint of heart. It takes a certain kind of team. People with diverse perspectives and expertise, united by a common sense of purpose. People willing to challenge assumptions but always do the right thing. People proving that innovation and responsibility don’t have to compete, but can come together to create something truly unconventional in the world. For the last eight years, we’ve been charting this new path forward. We call it The SoFi Way. At SoFi, we don’t just talk about culture: we live it. The SoFi Way is how we show up every day, how we make decisions, and how we build for our members, clients, and each other.
