We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead the complex process engineering design assignments, supporting project delivery excellence, and driving innovation within a world-class minerals processing business.

As the Principal Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Design Leadership: Lead and coordinate the process design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering outputs that meet client and project requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Resolve technically challenging design problems, define design methods, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Interface across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Quality & Standards: Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and updating standard specifications and drawings.
  • Client & Commercial Engagement: Support client interface, contribute to technical content of bids, and ensure technical risks are managed.

You are an experienced Principal Process Engineer with the following qualifications and background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgy, or Process Engineering.
  • Eligible to hold the professional title of "Ingenieur" or "Ingenieurin" in Germany.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a design, consultancy, or operational engineering environment.
  • Strong background in minerals processing and chemical plant projects.
  • Proven leadership in managing technical teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project is desirable.
