What You Will Do
Privacy and AI-related tasks such as:
- Providing privacy legal opinion & Conducting privacy legal risk assessment
- Contract review, DPA review and contract inventory maintenance
- Privacy / Data Protection law & regulation review and update
- Privacy Policy & Privacy Plan review and update
- Data Subject Rights management
- Privacy Incident handing
- Government correspondence
- Supporting Privacy review (Privacy Impact Assessment)
- Supporting Privacy Monitoring and Internal Audit
- Conducting AI use case legal review.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience & Education:
- Must be a qualified lawyer holding a valid lawyer license (Bar admission).
- 5 to 10 years of proven legal experience - Privacy, GDPR and relevant areas, either practicing in a law firm or working as an in-house legal counsel.
- Soft Skills: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across different departments and with external partners.
- Language Skills:
- Mandarin Chinese: Native proficiency.
- English: Professional working proficiency (able to communicate smoothly in a professional work environment)
