Job Overview:
The Principal Hookup & Commission Tech directly impacts the effectiveness of their team and related team. They exchange ideas and information relating to Hook Up & Commissioning (Fab) effectively. The Principal Hookup & Commission Tech may work autonomously within established Hook Up & Commissioning (Fab) procedures and practices. They act as a lead, coordinating the work of others. The Principal Hookup & Commission Tech proposes improvements to processes and methods within the Hook Up & Commissioning (Fab) discipline.
ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the register of equipment, tools, and test devices including consumables materials to support the smooth running during project pre-commissioning/commissioning execution
- Responsible for equipment, tool, and spares utilization and allocation for the pre-commissioning/commissioning activities on the project
- Liaise with the procurement and commissioning engineering team for identification and procurement of all material and equipment for pre-commissioning
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- High School Graduate
- 6+ years of experience in Oil and gas construction projects
- Preferably ex-PTMI who have been involved in FAT of SPS and SURF
- Good teamwork skills
