A Day in the LifeThis role is part of a software engineering organization responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale technology solutions that enable business operations, digital transformation, and platform modernization initiatives across the enterprise.
The position is based in Hyderabad, India and follows a Flex work arrangement, combining remote and onsite collaboration as determined by business and team needs. No travel is anticipated for this role.
As a Principal Enterprise Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of mobile software solutions that integrate with cloud services and connected medical technologies. This role is responsible for mobile application architecture, software development, system integration, and technical leadership across the software development lifecycle to support the delivery of secure, scalable, and maintainable products.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications that integrate with connected medical devices and cloud-based services.
  • Architect and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and native mobile capabilities for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Define software architecture, system requirements, and technical designs to support product and business objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and implement software development best practices to ensure application quality, maintainability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support requirements gathering, project planning, system design, development, testing, release, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting regulatory, quality, and business requirements.
  • Apply Agile development methodologies and established software design patterns throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvements to system reliability and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical discipline and 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 6+ years of mobile application development experience with a focus on software architecture and design.
  • Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
  • Experience developing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience building mobile applications that consume and integrate with REST application programming interfaces (APIs) and cloud-based services.
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with connected hardware or device ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing software products within the medical device industry or another regulated industry.
  • Experience developing mobile applications that integrate with connected hardware devices.
  • Experience developing web applications, web services, or application programming interfaces (APIs).
  • Experience applying object-oriented design principles, software design patterns, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience with networking protocols, graphical user interface (GUI) design, security assessments, risk analysis, and Agile software development methodologies.
