Join our Supplier Quality team to ensure mission-critical aerospace components meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance. This position will be worked out of our Apopka, FL facility.
Responsible for Supplier Quality risk management and other duties to include:
- Develops and implements supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
- Assures supplier process and product quality, including contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance.
- Interfaces directly with supplier personnel and must be knowledgeable in and capable of assessing both supplier quality and manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Conducts product and process verification activities, monitors supplier quality performance, and drives root cause corrective action analysis for supplier quality issues.
- Supports the maintenance of the approved supplier list and periodically reviews supplier performance to determine whether suppliers should remain on the approved list.
- Manages supplier requests for waivers, deviations and discrepancy reporting process.
- Keeps management apprised of supplier performance, quality status, and risks.
- Coordinates and oversees Supplier Quality plan implementation through all program phases.
- Actively engages in supplier evaluation, qualification and selection as part of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) and as new procurements are required on existing programs.
- Manages implementation of Supplier Quality processes, including supplier approval activities, source selection evaluations, supplier classification designation (Critical, Key and Standard), development and execution of supplier quality risk assessments and mitigation plans, and supplier quality requirements development and flow-downs.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply chain environment. or Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply chain environment
- Experienced with Root cause analysis tools.
- Experienced with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experienced.
- Experienced with Excel/pivot tables and data analysis.
- Experienced with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) & types of Engineering Drawings as described in ASME Y14.5 & Y14.24.
- Experienced with J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, 610, 620 or MIL-STD-883.
- Experienced with Earned Value Management and CAM.
- Auditor experience to ISO 9001 and AS9100, AS9102 requirements.
- Experienced with Six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
- Current active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, or higher.
