Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in PMP methodologies to manage public sector and fixed-bid projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in overseeing end-to-end project execution while fostering client relationships and ensuring successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery aligned with PMP best practices.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet fixed-bid and public sector objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and task alignment.
- Monitor project risks, issues, and changes, providing timely updates and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular status meetings and deliver progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and government regulations in public sector projects.
- Drive continuous process improvement and innovation in project management practices.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience, including public sector and fixed-bid projects.
- PMP certification required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, especially in fixed-bid environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in consulting or professional services industries.
- Familiarity with software development or IT infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of public sector compliance and procurement processes.
Additional Information
- Salary range: $130,000 to $155,000 Gross + benefits
- This is a hybrid position in NYC
