The Role
Owns end-to-end cloud architecture for scalable enterprise applications, from requirements and design through deployment, production support, and continuous improvement. Establishes architecture standards and reusable patterns; leads design and code reviews; resolves complex scalability, security, performance, and integration issues; and mentors engineering teams. Partners with business and technical stakeholders on proof-of-concepts and technical trade-offs while driving DevOps, CI/CD, observability, security, compliance, cost management, and engineering excellence across hybrid and public cloud environments.

What will you do

  • Own end-to-end cloud architecture, from requirements and solution design through development, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
  • Define architecture principles, technology standards, and reusable patterns for scalable, secure, highly available, maintainable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Provide cross-team technical leadership by conducting architecture, design, and code reviews; resolving complex performance, scalability, security, and integration challenges; and mentoring engineers across development teams.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Systems, and other business and technical stakeholders; develop proof-of-concepts, evaluate build-vs-buy decisions, and assess architectural trade-offs across cost, performance, security, maintainability, and time-to-market.
  • Drive engineering excellence across Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, security architecture, cost estimation, risk management and mitigation, privacy, quality, and regulatory compliance, while contributing to technical training, hiring, research, and continuous learning.

What you need

Required Qualifications

  • 14+ years of overall software-development experience, including 8+ years of cloud-architecture experience, with demonstrated experience delivering and operating large-scale cloud products in production.
  • BS-level technical degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree desired.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Core, Web/REST APIs, microservices, and Windows Services, with experience in multiple programming languages.
  • Experience architecting highly available, large-scale enterprise applications across Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud environments, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and exposure to AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of API Management, event-driven architecture, messaging, asynchronous processing, Kubernetes, Docker, service discovery, secrets management, serverless services, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
  • Experience with modern application technologies including React.js/Angular/Vue.js, SQL, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework, Git, unit testing, and PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps and cloud operations, including automated CI/CD, environment provisioning, configuration management, deployment strategies, logging, monitoring, tracing, alerting, dashboards, and operational support.
  • Strong architecture, analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with experience evaluating technical trade-offs, working in Agile environments, and an architectural certification with one or more Public Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding of HL7 and DICOM protocols.
  • Experience or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement data analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated passion for software development and continuous technical learning, such as active open-source contribution, research activities, proof-of-concepts, or exploration of emerging technologies.
