Title:
Principal Electrical EngineerJob Responsibilities:
Perform electrical engineering design for onshore and/or offshore oil and gas facilities.
Responsible for studies, designs, specifications, and services related to MV (11kV)/LV (690/400V) switchgear, power management systems, MV VFDs, distribution systems, etc.
Have detailed design/FEED experience on onshore and/or offshore MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) systems/ancillaries, including power management systems and MV VFDs.
Experience with power systems studies using ETAP, developing studies, philosophies, single line diagrams, specifications/data sheets, and performing technical bid evaluations for switchgear and VFDs, as well as reviewing vendor documents/data/drawings.
Work with a team of specialized Electrical Engineers/Designers for detailed engineering design.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 12 years of experience with electrical design involving offshore electrical power and distribution systems
Familiarity with global electrical codes, standards, and regulations, i.e., IEC/BSI, etc
Knowledge of electrical systems for assessment/compliance studies and reports
Good understanding of electrical system design and electrical system studies
Use database engineering for production electrical deliverables
Able to work independently
