We are actively seeking a Principal Domain Architect, Automation & Orcherstration. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere is the U.S. The role may require periodic travel as necessary across the world.

Position Summary 

As part of our Rimini Consult group, the Principal Domain Architect, Automation & Orcherstration, will be responsible for designing and delivering customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, and internal technical teams to understand client requirements, propose tailored solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

The role also encompasses providing thought leadership around functional strategy, including overseeing complex project implementations, Product Roadmap Analyses, reviewing and analyzing current system functionality, and have demonstrated a strong ability to analyze and provide guidance to support strategic objectives. He/she will demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills, deep analytical skills, deep functional expertise, solution orientation, strategic thinking, the ability to establish rapport at all levels within the organization, and the ability to drive consensus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of automation solutions utilizing tools like Appian, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and cloud providers' native automation capabilities.
  • Consult with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and propose optimal automation architectures.
  • Develop proofs of concept and prototypes to demonstrate the value of automation and orchestration.
  • Work with development teams to build out and implement automation solutions.
  • Create guidelines, frameworks, and best practices for automation and orchestration.
  • Monitor automation solutions and fine-tune them for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date on the latest automation tools and techniques.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences and/or Information Technology or related field (Master’s Degree preferred)

Location

  • This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Desired Experience

  • 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing automation and orchestration solutions utilizing tools like Appian, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, storage, servers, databases, etc.
  • Experience in a consulting/professional services environment, including presales activities.

Desired Skills

  • Expertise in automation tools like Appian, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, YAML, etc.
  • Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and connecting disparate systems.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong consulting, design, architecture, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to mentor and guide development teams

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience.

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 142k - 177k depending on skills and experience.
