Responsible for driving the vision, strategy, business requirements, roadmap, and execution across multiple assigned digital products. Advocates for the end user experience through data and research driven product discovery and development methods. Ensures alignment between Product, Business and Platform/Property priorities in context of Mayo Clinic's overall strategy and goals, while ensuring the end-user needs are met.
Oversees the entire life cycle of the assigned product, from defining and setting the vision, managing teams to hit cross-product and shared OKRs, deriving feature intention maps, and managing capacity against scope - ultimately creating a best in class user/customer experience, while on time and within budget. Sets the portfolio-wide standard for problem definition – ensuring every initiative is grounded in a clear articulation of what is being built, why it matters and how success will be measured before any solution work begins. Sets and manages product portfolio performance scorecards and shared OKRs; tracks shared KPIs across portfolio products and drives continuous improvement. Prior health care experience preferred. Experience in managing complex products or a family of multiple products required. Digital product and people leadership experience (direct or indirect). Prior Digital Senior Product Management experience or equivalent role. Preference for health care experience (clinical, management, technology, other) from some Product Manager roles. Experience in design thinking methodologies.
