The Role
As a Senior Lead Consultant / Principal Data Advisor at Capco, you will play a key role in leading complex, large-scale data programmes for clients across banking and financial services.
You will work closely with senior management, Steering Committees, Business, IT, Security, and Data Owners to provide strategic direction and support critical architectural and organisational decisions. Combining practical expertise across data governance, architecture, and transformation, you will help clients build robust data capabilities and translate strategic objectives into effective delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and provide strategic direction across large-scale data programmes within banking and financial services.
- Advise senior management and Steering Committees on data strategy, governance, architecture, and transformation.
- Facilitate complex discussions and build alignment between Business, IT, Security, Data Owners, and other key stakeholders.
- Guide architectural and organisational decisions across data warehouses, data platforms, and lakehouse solutions.
- Assess architectural and technical recommendations, including solutions using GCP and BigQuery, to support scalable and effective delivery.
What We're looking for
- Extensive experience in leading large-scale data programmes.
- Experience in the banking, financial services, or other regulated sectors.
- Experience working with senior management and Steering Committees.
- Strong practical knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and data transformation.
- Ability to make architectural and organizational decisions.
- Ability to facilitate complex discussions and alignment between Business, IT, Security, and Data Owners.
- Experience in building data warehouses, data platforms, or lakehouse solutions.
- Knowledge of GCP / BigQuery at a level sufficient to assess architectural and technical recommendations.
- Fluency in Polish & English.
