Job Summary
We are seeking a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Analyst for an on-site, full-time position to support the USMC Coordinated Secondary Reparable Management, and Continuous Process Improvement for Secondary Reparable Management Program in Albany, GA. The candidate must have knowledge of USMC Logistics and is a demonstrated leader in CPI. The scope of this role provides support to organizations within the three USMC MEFs, Marine Forces Reserves, and Marine Corps Logistics Command.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $143,000 to $147,000 per year. 

***This is an anticipated position that will start in January 2027.***
Responsibilities and Duties

  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodologies to facilitate CPI in a military logistics environment.
  • Provide leadership in project and change management to government customers and facilitate CPI related meetings.
  • Conduct root-cause investigations and conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to develop Courses of Action (COAs) and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) in support of CPI initiatives.
  • Facilitate integrated process teams to move from the current to future state of logistics network initiatives to improve the logistics of retail and wholesale Class IX reparables.
  • Develop and provide briefings and documents such as position papers in support of CPI initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain tools that extract data from systems utilized in the management of the Marine Corps supply chains and provide visibility of key performance metrics.
  • Develop demand forecast models using statistical methods to include hypothesis testing.
  • Ensure the proper metrics are developed to guide the organization to meeting mission objectives.
  • Ensure the organization data is properly archived for easy retrieval for use in new analysis and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, refine, and update metrics as necessary.
  • Conduct and coordinate with stakeholders for visits, as needed, to USMC supply centers at Camp LeJeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA, and Okinawa, JP to support CPI initiatives.
  • Analyze Situation Reports and maintain communication with stakeholders during all phases of process evaluation and improvement.
  • Provide input into policy changes and facilitate those changes as required.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Supply Chain / Marine Corps Reparable Program processes including:
    • Inventory and Allowance Re-computation processes, underlying calculations, and functionality of the Enterprise SECREP Total Allowance Re-Computation Tool (E-START).
    • Marine Corps Accountable Property System of Record (APSR)
    • Processes for identifying, monitoring, and managing Invalid SECREP Exchanges (ISE).
    • Enterprise level oversight/coordination processes for the Material Returns Program (MRP) and SECREP requisition/distribution/location/storage.
    • MARCORLOGCOM CSM Executive Agent processes for Logistics Integration Support (LIS) and DoD Wholesale Management processes.
    • Processes for Reparable support to deployed Units.
    • Marine Corps Equipment Fielding and Initial Issue Provisioning (IIP) processes.
    • Reparable Business Rules, in support of CSM SECREP Working Integrated Process Team (WIPT).

Qualifications and Skills
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Master’s degree in business, logistics or statistics or similar field of study
  • Minimum of ten (10) years leading process improvement efforts across a broad range of logistical assignments.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of utilizing statistical methods and models to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain processes.
