The Opportunity

As the senior technical interface, you will provide business and technical consultancy to the sales team during the sales process and be the conduit between customer and internal teams during project initiation.

With a strong focus on the implementation of complex, large solutions for non-standard and strategic opportunities, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to other Technical Consultants.

What you will do

• Providing pre-sales technical design and solution support to the BDM’s and Account Executives.
• Assist in the management of RFT responses including costings, particularly in the Enterprise and Corporate IT sector)
• Assist in the content preparation of responses to RFT’s and equivalents on Hosting solutions and capabilities
• Provide thought leadership to clients, as well as technical mentor to other consultants.
• Create, modify and run Trusted Advisor program.
• Contribute and participate in managed blogging, marketing and PR campaigns

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
• 10 years of experience in consulting roles.
• Experience across Azure cloud infrastructure and/or security is required.
• Previous experience as a principal consultant ideally in a cloud managed services provider.
• Detailed knowledge of Macquarie Technology’s infrastructure/solutions and or competitors’ products and solutions
• Extensive experience in hosting solutions, managed services, operations, network design, systems integration or technical support role is highly desirable.
