Role Overview:
As our Principal Consultant – Business Analyst, you’ll be leading a talented team of Business Analysts, acting as the go-between for end-users and IT. Your job is to make sure that business and user needs are smoothly translated into IT solutions that drive our strategy and deliver top-notch results.
What You’ll Do:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Lead Consultants and Business Consultants.
- Foster a culture of excellence and learning.
- Fine-tune business analysis practices to help us meet our goals.
Strategic Consulting & Customer Engagement:
- Run high-profile discovery workshops and strategy sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Be the go-to advisor for clients, making sure their business goals align with the tech solutions we provide.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes and innovate, especially when it comes to AI and emerging tech.
Business Development & Opportunity Identification:
- Build strong relationships with clients to create new work opportunities.
- Help with pre-sales, including scoping and proposals.
- Lead and respond to bids, proposals, and resource planning.
AI & Process Improvement:
- Drive AI-focused projects, using the best practices and the latest methods.
- Equip your team with the skills, tools, and certifications they need to succeed.
Solution Design & Implementation:
- Oversee the creation of functional and technical specs, and guide the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Make sure implementations go smoothly and users get the training and support they need.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure a safe and compliant work environment, addressing any health and safety concerns.
What You Need:
Essential:
- Deep understanding of the systems/software development lifecycle and IT/business strategy.
- 10+ years of broad IT experience, including at least 7 years in a business and technical leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop technical solutions.
Desirable:
- Agile Certifications and AI Certifications/tools.
- Previous experience in AI-related projects.
