Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS) is seeking a Principal Computer Systems Analyst to manage SAP manufacturing, production, and material requirements planning functionality. This person will develop SAP computer systems specifications that address Manufacturing and Logistics Operation requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards in both ERP1 and ERP2. This person will be responsible for leading discussions to combine ERP1 and ERP2 into one system, S4.

This position can be virtual however the preferred candidate will work hybrid from the Annapolis Junction, MD location.

The Principal Computer Systems Analyst designs and develops system specifications that meet business requirements while aligning with the company’s architecture standards. This role defines and documents system parameters and formats, ensures compatibility across hardware and software platforms, and adjusts system configurations based on current and projected capacity and capability needs. The Principal Computer Systems Analyst also updates and refines existing systems and procedures to address deficiencies and improve data handling, conversion, input/output, and storage efficiency.

In this position, the analyst applies a strong working knowledge of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques, and is proficient in performing moderately complex professional tasks. The Principal Computer Systems Analyst contributes solutions to a wide range of technical problems of growing scope and complexity and operates under general supervision, exercising judgment within established guidelines and practices.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Computer Systems Analyst Lead:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience in operations, production, manufacturing, quality, industrial engineering, software development, equipment maintenance or related; OR Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience. 
• Will consider 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree requirement. 
• Strong Excel, Power Point, Word skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Clearance
• US citizenship

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or other STEM area
• Experience with SAP business processes in manufacturing and production
  Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Production Engineering
  Professional experience in manufacturing, materials / production planning
• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or security industries
• Technical experience working in a manufacturing/production environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $155,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
