As a Principal Cloud Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you'll design complex cloud-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and economically sound. Your day will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translating them into technical solutions that ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
You will provide pre-sales technical support, helping our sales teams analyze client requirements and devise robust cloud architectures. Your influence will extend to assessing existing systems, strategizing migrations from on-premises to cloud environments, and designing seamless integration solutions to ensure optimal DATA flow.
With a focus on cloud security best practices, you will define and enforce compliance standards. As an expert guide, you will support development teams in adhering to cloud architecture standards and drive the creation of technical designs that meet specified requirements. You'll also participate in scope determination, product pricing, and responding to RFPs/RFIs, teaming up with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive implementation plans.
Guiding client proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, you will ensure the right resources are involved and manage the delivery to showcase the value of our solutions. Your role will also involve serving as a subject matter expert on cloud technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals, and influencing sales strategies to drive the closure of deals while maintaining an eye on the sales pipeline.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture patterns, including microservices, serverless computing, containers, and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies like virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and load balancing.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GdPr, HIPAA, PCI-dSS).
- Skilled in using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure resource Manager, or Google Cloud deployment Manager.
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and their specific services.
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, VPNs, VPC peering, and hybrid connectivity options.
- Familiarity with devOps principles and practices, including CI/Cd.
- Strong client engagement skills, technical consulting aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
