In this role, you will lead subject matter expert that serves as the go-to person for systems engineering supporting our Azure Cloud Infrastructure. Attend planning meetings to design and architect solutions across the credit union's infrastructure while providing technical support to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Experience with building out Azure Cloud Infrastructure - Subscriptions, Microservices and Cloud Architecture
- Identify technical risks, oversee enterprise backup architecture and develop enterprise Disaster Recovery solutions
- Point person for enterprise storage/compute specifications, risk analysis, integration
- Analyze and approve complex designs across engineering disciplines, documenting risks and ensuring risk controls and requirements are met
- Ensure inclusion of inputs into product and technical design reviews from cross functional stakeholders
- Anticipate technical challenges and risk scenarios and prepare, manage, and execute mitigation strategies to ensure optimal results
- Utilize creative thinking and teamwork to resolve conflicts and make critical decisions relating to systems deliverables
- Collaborate with project management to create and manage schedules for project related work
- Provide engineering consulting and recommendations for new IT systems to ensure the interoperability and adherence to technology standards and policies
- Serve as a lead for group projects as well as internal IT and business driven initiatives
- Build, develop, and manage the Windows Systems and Virtual Environment, including organizing the development of Operating System technical support, operational software, and server hardware platform capabilities
- Define and monitor multiple project priorities and provide technical and administrative supervision; ensure appropriate management is apprised of operational status of projects
- Provide appropriate hardware/software resources for business applications; perform capacity planning, workload modeling/prediction, and purchasing recommendations for new hardware/software upgrades; provide business applications enough resources for their short-term and long-term growth
- Ensure environment is updated with current, stable versions of software products; maintain currency with operating system and support software; plan and implement major software upgrades; ensure change management procedures and methodologies are implemented and followed
Education:
- Minimum - Bachelors Degree - Computer Science, IT or Related
Ye ars of Experience:
- 5 Years - Design, configuration, deployment and administration of Azure Cloud Infrastructure or related
- AZ-104 Azure Adminstrator or AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect preferred
In Lieu of Education:
- 8 Years - Design, configuration, deployment and administration of Azure Cloud Infrastructure or related
