Make Your Mark:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This role is pivotal in representing the IT organization for our Sales and Marketing functions. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of sales processes, tools, and best practices to effectively meet their technology solution needs. With expertise in the Salesforce platform and familiarity with related systems such as Clari, Outreach, Marketo, and Gainsight, the Principal Business Systems Analyst will serve as the cornerstone for transforming our sales and marketing strategies through innovative technology solutions.
You'll Get To:

  • Serve as the primary IT liaison for sales and marketing functions, understanding and translating business needs into actionable IT strategies and solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current sales processes, identifying areas for improvement and integration to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead the requirements gathering, documentation, and validation process, ensuring clear communication and understanding between business and IT stakeholders.
  • Design and propose optimal business processes and technology solutions, aligning with the organization's goals and industry best practices.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration among sales, marketing, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Manage the end-to-end solution delivery process, liaising with technical development teams and ensuring timely and within-budget project completions.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform, ensuring its capabilities are fully leveraged to meet business objectives. Knowledge of integrating systems like Clari, Outreach, Marketo, Gainsight will be advantageous.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in sales and marketing, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or similar, with a proven track record in the sales and marketing domain.
  • Deep knowledge of sales processes, CRM platforms (Salesforce required), and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Clari, Outreach, Marketo, Gainsight, or similar tools is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary Range:
USD $201,000.00 - USD $269,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
