Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ERP Architect with a strong background in Oracle or Workday applications, focusing on financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, T&E, Procurement, Expense Allocations, and Reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical expertise, and design innovative solutions that meet our business requirements and transform our financial processes. This is an individual contributor role.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP System Design and Development:

  • Must ramp up and understand organization's existing systems, processes, and business requirements, with a specific focus on Finance processes.
  • Ability to design and architect global, reliable, and efficient ERP solutions with a focus on minimal customization of financial modules.
  • Align on the thin-ledger strategy (Global CoV for GL/SL), expense allocation redesign with global stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, T&E, Procurement, Expense Allocations, and Reporting.
  • Guide the Consolidations implementation.


ERP System Implementation and Configuration:

  • Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, design decisions, and processes.
  • Knowledgeable on how to configure the ERP system to align with the organization's specific business processes and requirements.
  • Ensure solution is compliant with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements, especially in relation to financial data and processes.


System Integration and Optimization:

  • Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for system integration and optimization to drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and configurable integration of the ERP system with other applications within the organization's technology landscape to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
  • Stay updated with emerging ERP trends, tools, and technologies and evaluates their potential benefits for the organization.


Project Management and Leadership:

  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and other key stakeholders, to align project objectives and priorities and translate them into solution architecture.
  • Provides technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members involved in ERP system development and support.
  • Collaborates with external vendors or consultants when necessary, ensuring their deliverables meet the organization's requirements and quality standards.
  • Mentor and guide team members on Oracle or Workday ERP functionalities and technical aspects.


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's, or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Should have minimum 5+ years proven experience as an ERP professional leading Oracle or Workday Cloud ERP Solutions in Financial Services, strong experience with large global ERP implementation projects.
  • Well-versed in product architecture and up-to date with latest product offerings.
  • In-depth understanding of finance processes and ability to design and configure ERP systems to meet financial reporting, analysis, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with financial modules of ERP software, such as general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, projects, etc. particularly familiarity with Insurance landscape.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and reporting standards relevant to finance such as GAAP, IFRS, SOX, etc.
  • Understanding of financial controls and risk management in the context of ERP systems for insurance and understanding of financial business processes and requirements.


Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to influence without authority is needed to be successful.
  • Certifications in Oracle or Workday ERP applications.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment (this position will be an individual contributor role; however, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership in a cross-functional capacity).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.

The salary range for applicants for this position is $118,700 - $182,100.
