As Principal Architect, DevOps, you'll lead the technical vision and architectural design of DevOps platforms across the Icertis engineering ecosystem. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in building secure, scalable, and automated DevOps solutions, while collaborating across Product Engineering, CloudOps, SRE, and IT teams to ensure continuous delivery excellence.
Responsibilities- Own the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade DevOps automation, tooling, and platform architecture across the full application lifecycle.
- Craft secure, scalable, and maintainable DevOps solutions, enabling product teams to self-service environment provisioning, builds, and deployments.
- Define architectural standards and best practices for DevOps toolchains including GitOps and Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS pipelines.
- Architect robust infrastructure templates and provisioning patterns using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
- Enable lifecycle management of container workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm ensuring scalable deployments and rollout strategies.
- Build and expose internal tooling and APIs (via PowerShell, Python + FastAPI or equivalents) to accelerate platform capabilities and developer productivity.
- Incorporate observability and visibility by integrating monitoring/CMDB tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, AppInsights).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SRE, CloudOps, Security, and IT to enforce resilient, compliant, and scalable infrastructure patterns.
- Lead incident response, technical root cause analysis, and continuous improvements to pipeline stability and rollback mechanisms.
