The Role

What you can expect

As a Principal Product Manager for Speech AI Technologies, you will drive end-to-end product development leveraging cutting-edge Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Speech Translation and Text to Speech technologies. You will build robust APIs, and creating developer-centric solutions to deliver exceptional value to our customers. As a key technical leader, you will drive innovative speech-enabled experiences through code-first approaches, working closely with developers, customers and partners to meet their unique business needs through multilingual voice interfaces and speech processing tools.

About the Team

The AI Product Management team is at the forefront of AI innovation, defining platform strategy and integrating advanced AI/ML capabilities across our solutions. As a key leader, you will drive innovative experiences, working closely with customers and partners to meet their specific business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Shaping end-to-end speech product direction through data-driven insights, speech model prototyping, and deep technical customer engagement with multilingual use cases.

  • Identifying and sourcing multilingual speech training data required to enhance ASR models and improve speech recognition accuracy across languages and accents.

  • Leading product growth and GTM strategy for Speech AI solutions and developer APIs, targeting aggressive YoY revenue growth in voice-enabled applications.

  • Delivering scalable speech processing architectures, SDKs, and developer enablement plans to drive enterprise adoption of voice interfaces.

  • Partnering closely with the legal team to manage speech data contracts, voice privacy considerations, and vendor relationships.

  • Ensuring compliance with voice data privacy regulations and contractual obligations across global speech recognition deployments.

What we’re looking for

  • Have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Product Manager with deep expertise in enterprise software, AI technologies, and API development.

  • Demonstrate experience with ASR and speech translation technologies, including model development, multilingual training data sourcing, and speech processing architectures.

  • Showcase proven ability to drive GTM strategy for developer-focused speech solutions, with experience scaling voice-enabled applications and delivering enterprise-grade SDKs.

  • Have experience presenting to executives (internal and customer executives) with consultative professional business acumen.

  • Have experience orchestrating initiatives across technical teams while navigating speech data privacy regulations and managing voice data contractual obligations.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$171 800,00

Maximum:

$375 900,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
