A Day in the LifeAs a Principal Advanced Analytics Analyst, you will lead the design and development of enterprise-scale Power BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Based in Hyderabad, India (MEIC), this role partners with business stakeholders and analysts to transform complex data into actionable insights through advanced semantic models, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions. You will play a critical role in governing delivery performance, improving business visibility, and eliminating manual reporting processes through automation and analytics innovation. This position offers the opportunity to influence decision-making across global teams while driving best practices in data modeling, visualization, and reporting performance.Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
- Design and develop advanced Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Deliver automated analytics and reporting solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into impactful, user-focused Power BI solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to align data structures, reporting requirements, and project deliverables.
- Optimize Power BI datasets, reports, and data models to improve scalability, performance, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions.
- Evaluate new Power BI capabilities and industry best practices.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
- Must have overall 12-16 years of overall professional work experience.
- 10+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer.
- Advanced experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling and report development.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and visualization concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
- Experience using Power Automate.
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience driving process improvements through analytics solutions.
