Job Description:

Job Overview: As a Primes Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the forecasting, financial analysis, reporting and digital reporting solutions for a portfolio exceeding $2 billion in costs related to raw and packaging materials. Your responsibilities will span across various critical areas, including forecasting variances, risks, and opportunities, internal controls, and contributing to digitalization efforts within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting and Financial Analysis (50%):

  • Collaborate with the commercial sourcing team to collect inputs for forecasting over $2 billion in costs related to raw and packaging materials.
  • Own compilation of forecast inputs and build out of periodic reporting data ensuring harmonized and quality uploads to digital reporting tools
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis of forecast variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Compilation of periodic reporting decks with relevant insights that highlight key drivers of results and forecast variances.
  • Own forecast scorecard (sourcing team) while providing key insights of variance drivers, ensuring accountability and supporting Commercial team to help build forecasting capabilities
  • Support reporting efforts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Primes Financial Reporting Digitalization (20%):

  • Key Power BI (PBI) user, responsible for supporting existing primes reporting and driving enhancements or improvement implementations
  • Help further digitize the primes finance function, creating efficiencies, and generating meaningful insights.

Cost Optimization & Financial Analysis (20%):

  • Own the primes value leadership (VL) validation process to ensure projected cost optimizations are validate and accurately stated
  • Provide financial analysis and support for ad-hoc needs/requests

Internal Controls and Procurement Pricing Process (10%):

  • Play a key role in monitoring procurement pricing process, identifying weaknesses leading to pricing errors and support improvement and mitigation solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certification such CPA is a plus
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting, preferably in a manufacturing or procurement environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Alteryx, Power BI and other relevant digital tools.
  • Knowledge of procurement pricing processes and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
