Job purpose
The role sits within the Pricing Transformation Team, a team which is re-defining how Revenue Management is conducted within the wider Pricing Team. The industry-leading analytics and pricing algorithms we devise aim to revolutionize how IWG drives volume and earnings.
You will be working within a highly motivated and multi-disciplinary team, with a direct hand on the full-stack development of our global business simulations (e.g., customer behaviour predictors, multi-variable forecasts & maximum likelihood estimations) across all product lines, the results of which are used in price setting and visible across the business.
The immediate team is split between the UK and Manila, has a great start-up feel, with flexible working practices around a core over-lap shift to be determined with managerial discretion.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
· Working experience in building simulations/algorithms in an advanced programming language; preferably Python
· Knowledge of data engineering, preferably SQL pipelines + Python cleansing
· Strong analytical capabilities and data visualization in Python, comfortable with large data sets
· Impressive academic credentials (numerical, scientific, or business disciplines preferred)
· Advanced user of the full Microsoft Office 365 suite, especially Excel
· Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
· Proven ability to undertake projects from initial inception through to final completion
· Experience in price optimization and/or revenue management is preferred
Key Accountabilities:
Business Simulations
· Improving existing algorithms e.g. likelihood of a contract renewing
· Creating new algorithms for missing processes e.g. likelihood of additional purchases
Price Setting Engines
· Building optimization engines that run the business simulations to set better prices
· Running pricing tests with the Pricing Analysts aid for better parameterization
Data Pipelines
· Ensuring clean and reliable data is being fed into the engines
· Expanding the data available by working closely with Reporting and IT teams
Processes
· Implementing better techniques for attribute identification and input parameterization
Result Presentation
· Developing better visualizations and ways for the Pricing Team and wider business to consume the findings of simulation runs.
Skills Required
- Experience building simulations and algorithms in an advanced programming language
- Experience using Python for analytics, modelling, and data visualization
- Knowledge of data engineering and building reliable data pipelines
- Experience with SQL pipelines and Python data cleansing
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience visualizing large datasets (in Python)
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver projects end-to-end from inception to completion
